I knew early on!
After my first drum lesson with Mario Goossens, age 15, I knew.
I wanted to make a living by beating the drums.
Around that period I started playing in my first band. Metal, it was (hell yeah!).
About 4 years later I took my teacher’s drum seat with the band: THE HOODOO CLUB.
Two years later the HOODOO lead singer called me. He was front of house engineer for a band that was looking for a drummer. That’s when I joined ZORNIK.
It was the beginning of recording albums, touring the clubs and playing the biggest festivals in Belgium and the rest of the world.
On the road, I met a lot of people who occasionally asked me to play, record or join them.
That’s how I started travelling the world with a nice variety of bands.
